Irwin Adelsberg, CPA

Education: New York University - Graduated in 1979

Irwin’s professional career began in the audit department at Touche Ross and Company where he worked from 1979 until 1981 before leaving to join S. Adelsberg & Company.

Throughout his career, Irwin has been dedicated to S. Adelsberg & Company’s legacy in providing exceptional personalized client services.  In his 40+ years of professional practice at S. Adelsberg & Co., Irwin has extensive finance and tax experience specifically in the areas of real estate, wholesale businesses, medical and dental practices, family businesses, wealth management and financial planning.  Irwin graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Irwin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), NY State Society of CPAs, and has participated in the National Conference of CPA Practitioners.

Jeremy Kirschner, CPA, CGMA

Jeremy graduated Yeshiva University, Sy Syms School of Business in 2000 with a B.S. in accounting. Jeremy spent more than three years with Ernst & Young, LLP's Kenneth Leventhal real estate group auditing REIT's, real estate partnerships and various other transaction-based services. He has been with Samuel S. Adelsberg & Co. for more than 15 years and builds on his experience of auditing and preparing tax returns for companies of all size and in various different industries. He has gained a certain level of expertise in the fields of real estate, both commercial and residential and jewelry manufacturing to name a few. His non-auditing personal experience includes accounting for real estate acquisitions and dispositions, the preparation of international and consolidated financial statements, and other complex accounting issues and transactions in connection with a broad range of clientele. Jeremy has prepared tax returns and personal financial statements for individuals as well.
